Coach’s Note

We’re keeping things simple this month.

That’s typically my style anyway, but I’ve been increasingly aware of all the unnecessary noise surrounding all things fitness, nutrition, and health.

I’m sure you have too – do you ever wonder where you should even start with it all? What matters and what doesn’t?

It’s unfortunate, but now we even have to ask questions about what’s true and what’s just clever marketing.

Good marketing should simply help the right people find the right products, services, people, etc. And that’s what this note is: a simple marketing message that says “Here’s a great place to start if you want to improve your fitness.”

We’ll dive into some interesting specifics in the worlds of training and dieting, but I would encourage you to use this Clipboard program and to use this month as a whole to take a step back, to breathe, and to proceed forward at whatever pace you can handle.

Push yourself, and allow yourself to be shaped. Remember that there’s no rush here, and there’s no need to dive headfirst into complex high level stuff when there are many simple ways to strengthen your foundation.

In fact, that’s true of fitness, and that’s true in many other areas of life. Take inventory of your life outside of fitness this month, and see what you find!
