Coach’s Note

Your goals and your circumstances might look a little different this month.

And in case you haven’t heard this yet already, I’ll be the first to tell you: it’s ok to take this month in stride. It’s ok to put certain things on hold in order to focus on or take care of others.

It’s ok to change your approach to your health and fitness.

As your Coach and your friend, I would encourage you to read the contents of this month’s Clipboard carefully, from top to bottom. During times of stress, uncertainty, and even panic, it’s important to set a firm foundation in the things that truly matter to you so that you stay the course, even when it changes.

Throughout this month’s Clipboard program, I hope you will find many helpful strategies to help keep your own health and fitness at a high priority.

Simple, fun workouts to ease your mind and pump up your muscles.

Easy-to-follow and easy-to-adapt nutrition guidelines/recommendations.

Encouragement from God’s Word to keep you grounded and centered.

Informative and entertaining articles/podcasts to keep the learning coming.

As weird as it may sound, I’m at least a little excited for all of these forced opportunities to spend more time at home, more love on our families, and more effort on breaking out of our normal routines. We may not have chosen this situation, but we can definitely chose how to course correct from here.

We can either stay parked and hope everything passes over, or we can embrace and carve out the new path that lies before us.

It’s ok to change your approach to your health and fitness, but there’s no reason to put it all on the back burner – let’s attack it head on with new strength!
